My first real taste for acting started in the eleventh grade when my drama teacher asked me to play the lead character in “Cyrano De Bergerac”. Being my first big role the play was frightening and challenging but I loved it and wanted more.

After graduating from high school I attended Red Deer College and took the Motion Picture Arts program. During my second year of college I landed a role as spunky hockey goalie in an independent film. This was my first experience on a real film set and I my learning curve went through the roof.

In 2005 I graduated from Red Deer College Motion Picture Arts with honors and a film already under my belt. In 2006 I had one of my favorite rolls to date as “Dave the Elf” in a comic trio for a Christmas movie called "Santa Baby" staring George Wendt and Jenny McCarthy. It was thrilling and nerve-racking but I would do it again in a heartbeat.

The day that changed the way I listened to cartoons, narrations, radio commercials and anything with a voiceover was when I got a role as “Mercenary Leader Isaac Walker” in a podcast called Silent Universe. It is based on life in space after Earths Armageddon. I had never admired or considered voice acting until the day I heard the completed first episode.

When I heard that there was a casting call for improvisers to star in a sketch comedy show; I knew that this was going to be a show I would want to get in on the ground floor. The voice acting hit the back burner and it was back to the small screen. The show “Caution May Contain Nuts” was created and written by some the best comedians in Edmonton Alberta. Working on the pilot episode was incredible because the writers were open to different ideas allowing me some creative license. Not to mention that being a sketch show I got to play more than one character. Well, the network loved it and soon after we shot our first season.

As shooting for “Caution” drew to a close I began to focus on voice acting again. I was lucky to find a wonderful voice instructor Deb Munro who I now consider a mentor and a good friend. She introduced me to awesome voice actors like Bob Bergen, Pat Fraley and James Alburger whose classes and words of inspiration have helped to shape and guide me to where I am today! The joy and passion I derived from voice acting was far greater than any film or television project I had ever worked on. I wanted more and knew that Edmonton was not the right place to be and so I began plans to move to Vancouver.

Well, my plans to move were cut short when I found out “Santa Baby 2” starring Jenny McCarthy and Paul Sorvino was scheduled to be shot in a few months. It was a wonderful opportunity to reprise my role as a quirky elf alongside the other two boys who make up the comic trio. Being able to work with the same amazing actors and crew was like coming home to a family reunion and we were all ready to give it our best. Santa Baby 2 aired during “Family Chanel’s 12 days of Christmas” and was rated the most watched show of the Christmas line up.

Just days after shooting for “Santa Baby 2” ended and much to my elation I learned that “Caution May Contain Nuts” was picked up for a second season. This time with more episodes and a lot more craziness!!! All of the first season’s stars and crew returned to the show making for another great family reunion. The new season is filled with great sketches and hilarious characters.

After having put off moving for some time I am now living in Vancouver BC and am ready to take my career to the next level. Already I have taken animation, commercial and promo classes to increase my skills as a voice actor. Through classes and auditions I have been honored to meet some great people in the industry like Scott McNeil a voice acting Idol of mine and Marcy Goldberg who has done countless commercial voice overs. I have a great voice agent who is always doing her best to get my voice out there and heard by those who need to hear it and a film and television agent who is always looking for my next big break. I look forward to pursuing my career as a voice over and film actor and can’t wait to see what the future has in store for me.
